Looking to be inspired? Here are 20 simple ways to find inspiration. Use some or all of them to in your life.

1 – Watch Inspirational Videos

A great way to find inspiration is by watching inspiring videos. There are so many other videos out there that will give you some amazing life changing advice.

2 – Read Self-Improvement Blogs

There are plenty of great blogs out there to help you find inspiration. I like to aggregate all of my favorites using feedly.

3 – Create A Vision Board

Create a vision board with pictures and sayings that inspire you. Look at it every day and imagine your life exactly like it’s laid out on your board.

4 – Go See A Speaker

Look at your city’s events and go see an inspirational speaker who may be coming to town. You may also want to check out your local library. There are usually speakers there that don’t charge a dime.

5 – Join An Organization

Find inspiration by joining an organization or a cause. Being around like-minded people with the same objectives is very motivating.

6 – Volunteer

Not only will you help people in need, but volunteering will bring so much joy into your own life.

7 – Take A Nature Walk

There is just something about being out in nature that is inspiring. Really take time to notice your surroundings. What colors to you see? What smells do you smell? Live in the moment.

8 – Watch Your Kids Play

I find inspiration all the time by watching my little ones play. This is very powerful if you have small children. You can see their little imaginations at work. It makes me smile just thinking about it.

9 – Go To An Art Museum

A place full of talent, imagination, and creativity can be very inspiring. You may not be an artist but just seeing how so many different creators interpret the world is amazing.

10 – Subscribe To A Podcast

Every morning on my way to work I listen to inspirational podcasts. Just search for inspirational podcasts and subscribe to one that feels right.

11 – Meditate

The Universe is always speaking to us. Trying to enlighten us and inspire us. Try mediation to quiet your mind and hear what is trying to come through.

12 – Follow Inspirational Social Media Accounts

Find inspiration on all kinds of topics on social media. See how your peers have overcome adversity to accomplish their goals and dreams.

13 – Watch A Documentary

Documentaries are an excellent source to find inspiration. Documentaries get us to think and enlighten us to certain things. Get motivated to take action.

14 – Look Back At Your Past Accomplishments

If you can’t remember anything, then it’s time to start a gratitude journal. There are plenty of things you do on a daily basis that can serve as inspiration in the future. Start writing down your little victories now and find inspiration in them later.

15 – Read Inspiring Books

Find inspiration in books. Chicken Soup for the Soul is a great book to get inspired. You can also read biographies on people who have faced and overcome adversity.

16 – Print Out Motivational and Inspirational Quotes

I like to put motivational quotes on my vision board. Print out some of your favorites and read them every day. Here are some quotes to get you started.

17 – Listen To Music

Want to find inspiration for the gym? Listen to a mix that will get you pumped to go. Want to find creative inspiration? Listen to some Mozart. Music can inspire you in just about any area of life.

18 – Do Something Different

Change things up in your daily life and routine from time to time. Go try that restaurant you’ve seen but never went to, talk to someone new, join a class or teach a class!

19 – Write Down Your Ideal Day

Write down all the tasks and events necessary for you to have an ideal day. Then try to make it happen.

20 – Travel

Find Inspiration by traveling. Go see beautiful places around the world and take lots of photos. No time or money to travel? Then find places in your area of town that you haven’t gone to. Drive there and back in a day just to check it out.
