BAD PENNY – Denver 48hr Film Project Awardee

Several months ago I had the pleasure of working with director Patrick Friedauer on his film Bad Penny for the Denver 48 Hour Film Project. For those of you not familiar, the 48hr Film Project is a contest where filmakers are given a genre and other requirements  and given only 2 days to produce a film from writing to editing. Bad Penny won several awards including ‘Audience Favorite’.

The story revolves around Gus (Marty Lindsey), a car salesman who had the worst of luck trying to sell a particular car.

Shane Walker in Bad PennyI was one of the customers who bought the car and then brought it back. I played ‘Know-It-All’. It was a long day of shooting but it was great working with some talented actors and filmmakers. Just watching these guys and girls work was just amazing. Creating a complete film in that short amount of time while making it pretty damn good is just awesome.
