Utilize Your Free Time
Free time you say? What’s that? If you think you are too busy to make personal growth a part of your life, then look again. There are plenty of opportunities in your day to squeeze it in. On your commute to work for instance. The average American spends between 1 -2 hours a day commuting back and forth to work. That’s potentially 5 – 10 hours during your work week to listen to a personal growth audio book.
The most successful people in the world start their day early. If you are serious about making personal growth a part of your life, get up an extra half-hour early each day. Including weekends. Use this extra time to exercise, meditate, visualize, read or whatever you need to do to better yourself.
Read Self-Help Blogs Daily
Make personal growth a part of your life by reading self-help blogs every day. Just one article a day will keep the crappiness away. I like to use websites like Feedly.com to find and collect all of my favorite sites in one place. It beats having to go to different websites every day to see if they have new content.
Make It A Habit
As with anything new, it’s difficult getting and staying motivated. Whenever I do something different that I want to add to my life, I try to make it a habit. It takes approximately 21 consecutive days to make something a habit. So getting up early to exercise or meditate will take about 3 weeks to make it stick. Commit to 21 days (and it will be hard), then it will become much easier keep it up.

Here are some additional things you may want to add to your day to improve yourself.
