1 – Shed Those Self-Limiting Beliefs
Limiting beliefs are responsible for where we are in life. So if you aren’t happy with where you are, it’s because of your limiting beliefs.
2 – Let Go Of The Past
Make a commitment right now not to dwell on the negatives of the past. It’s a new day, it’s a new you, everything is possible.
3 – Keep A Gratitude Journal
Every night before you go to bed, write down what you are grateful for. Have at least one of those items be about you. Write down an accomplishment or trait that you are proud of.
4 – Stop Being A Perfectionist
We are human, no one is perfect. Some people have a hard time accepting anything less than perfection from themselves. When you find yourself being overly critical of yourself, just stop and instead of focusing on where you want to be, take time to think of something that you love about yourself right now. Many times we overlook the good things about ourselves because we obsess about something we don’t like.
5 – Never Say Anything Negative About Yourself
Notice I said “say”, not think. you cannot control your thoughts so if a critical thought pops up in your mind don’t feel like you’ve failed at this step. Power comes from spoken words. Don’t give your negative thoughts power. So make a promise to yourself that you’ll never say anything negative about yourself from this day on.
